The 2024 ONLINE SILENT AUCTION
We are once again offering the online silent auction through 32auctions.com. We hope you like the bells and whistles added last year: you can see your bid posted immediately; sign up to be notified if (or when) you are outbid; and enter a “proxy bid” !Bidding begins at noon on Sunday, September 1st and will continue right through the Fair weekend until 5 pm on Sunday, September 8th.
The high bid in hand for each item at 5 pm on the 8th will win. Winners will be notified via email within 48 hours and arrangements will be made to connect you with your treasure. All of that is coming soon… so stay tuned!

Some of the items donated so far include a landscaping consult with Cyndy Fine, cloth items by Laura Taylor, stained glass from Maple Leaf Designs, passes to shows at NextStage, useful tools, and jewelry new and old, as well as store and restaurant gift certificates! And perhaps of particular interest:

It’s time to get it back on the water! and what better than a 2011 Hemlock Canoe Works solo feather-weight canoe, donated by Susan Roman. 10½-foot long Kevlar composite, 15 pound (yes!) Nessmuk model, green body with ash trim and walnut deck. Purchased new in 2011 for $1554 (including paddle). Gently used and greatly enjoyed for six years. If purchased new in 2024 it sells for $1995 plus paddle. Minimum bid to start $500 includes canoe, paddle, seat and Stearns life jacket. (The canoe will not be released as a donation for a final bid less than $900.)

Two nights at Zach Weinberg’s “Surf Ranch” AirBnB in York, ME, dates to be arranged in the
window October through May. 4 bedroom house in a private woods setting. ½ mile to York
Beach, Maine (a 15-minute walk or a 4-minute bike ride). Cook’s kitchen, 9-foot dining table.
Fire pit, picnic table, pool table, ping pong. Sorry, no dogs. Value: $900 – $1,200. Minimum bid:
$350. Additional $250 cleaning fee required to be paid directly to Zach.
